Exhibits and Programs

Created to encourage hands-on play and discovery, Boston Children’s Museum’s three floors of exhibits make the Museum an environment designed for novel experiences, rich interactions, and opportunities for creative expression. With varied spaces, materials, and challenges, the Museum invites children and families to play, explore, and create.

By creating opportunities for playful exploration, Museum programs help children develop key foundational habits of mind and skills. Emphasizing hands-on play with objects and materials, Museum programs involving science, art, performing arts, cultures, and movement, expose children to rich new experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity, and joyful discovery.
