V. Kadir Kadhiresan is Vice President of Venture Investments with JJDC, the VC arm of Johnson and Johnson. Kadir has more than two decades of operational, investment and business development experience in the medtech industry. Kadir works closely with senior leadership to identify business needs and has responsibility for sourcing, investing, and managing investments.
Previously Kadir was head of Business Development at Boston Scientific where he led several strategic transactions. Kadir started his career in R&D at Guidant, where he led product development in cardiac rhythm management and heart failure. He was instrumental in the development of the cardiac resynchronization device for heart failure, now a multibillion-dollar product.
Kadir serves on the boards of several JJDC portfolio companies. Kadir also holds a M.S and PhD degree in Biomedical engineering from University of Michigan and an MBA from Northwestern University.
