The Shah Family Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of the most vulnerable communities across our country. We feel so fortunate for our partnership. Thanks to their support, The Wonderfund has been able to renovate family visiting rooms across the state.
DCF visiting rooms play a pivotal role in reconnecting children and families.
The Wonderfund used trauma-informed design principles to create safe and relaxing spaces for families to meet, connect and play.
I just wanted to personally say what a wonderful job Wayfair and the Wonderfund did to get the visiting rooms in Plymouth together. I am here in the office today and the AAM took me on a tour and couldn’t wait to show me how wonderful the rooms looked as well as the lobby. It is absolutely beautiful but most importantly creates a more natural family setting for visits.
The décor, furniture, games and the work that was put in is truly appreciated. The AAM also wanted to ensure Wayfair and the Wonderfund knew how much the office appreciated the work that was done. They have received great feedback from the families and community. Well done and thank you for a great collaboration with us here in the South.
