About Berkshire Art Center
Berkshire Art Center (IS183, INC) is the leading provider of high quality, hands-on instruction in the visual arts
year-round at sites throughout Berkshire County. Founded in 1991, Berkshire Art Center has evolved to reach
over 2,000 students each year through studio-based classes, artistic events, and out-of-school engagement
programs for all ages, means, and skill levels. BAC is a nonprofit community art center with the mission to
encourage people of all ages, means, and skill levels to enrich their lives through hands-on experience in the
visual arts. Growing and sustaining artists since 1991!

Free Drop In – 1st Fridays 5:30-7:30pm – Join BAC at our Pittsfield location for a drop in artmaking activity for all ages. In conjunction with Downtown Pittsfield’s First Friday ArtsWalk.
Parent’s Night Out – 2nd Fridays, 6-8pm – Join BAC at our Stockbridge location (Citizens’ Hall) for a creative, social night out with childcare & entertainment & food for all included!
Parent + Me – 4th Saturday of the Month, 10am-12pm – Join BAC at our Pittsfield location for a consistent time to connect with other parents while engaging in a creative and fun art project with your littles! At each meeting, we will offer a rotating project for families to participate in at their own pace, with the guidance and support of a Faculty Artist.
