One of the highlights of our Holiday season at The Wonderfund is fast approaching! Each year, at the Wonderfund Holiday Gift Drive, our incredible partners at Sage Therapeutics in Cambridge join us as a host and support 100-200 children with gifts, joy, and holiday cheer.
In 2021 Sages’ commitment to supporting the Wondefund jumped to another level entirely. Sage chose the Wonderfund as a primary partner to launch their new SageCitizen Social Impact Initiative. The initiative will further strengthen the social impact of the philanthropic and community activities of Sage and its employees, focusing on their main four pillars: People, Patients, Planet, and Community.
In September, Sage reached new levels of generosity, sponsoring Wonderfund’s Emergency Aid program and hosting the largest privately funded Emergency Aid packing event to date. Sage’s team and volunteers packed nearly 500 Emergency Aid Duffles and delivered the duffles to four Department of Children and Families (DCF) offices across Massachusetts. We look forward to continued support and a long partnership with the caring and dedicated team at Sage Therapeutics!
The Wonderfund is unique as we work exclusively with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF), which allows us to meet the individual needs of children across the state who have experienced trauma or neglect by working with social workers across the state.
